Waste Water Treatment Plant

About the Facility

Rubes Creek Water Reclamation Facility uses a Zenon Membrane filtration system to treat and process city wastewater, and is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The plant treats on average 1 million gallons of wastewater per day with the capacity to treat 2.5 million gallons per day in preparation for future growth of the city. A new headworks screening and grit removal system was added to the plant in 2012, which now provides even greater water cleaning functions and cost saving efficiencies.
