Woodstock Police Department Offers Free Self-Defense Course To Citizens

The Woodstock Police Department announces that it is set to host a free self-defense course to City of Woodstock citizens to be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., at the City Hall Annex, 12453 Highway 92, Woodstock, GA 30188.

Woodstock citizens are invited to attend a free self-defense course taught by Woodstock Police Officers in partnership with National Self Defense Company. The two hour course will provide participants with one-on-one instruction on various self-defense techniques in a controlled environment.

Anyone interested in participating in this course is asked to contact Officer Leigh Ellerbee, member of the Woodstock Police Department Neighborhood Services Unit, at 770-592-6000 ext: 1134 or cellerbee@woodstockga.gov.

Spaces are limited and are filled on a first come first serve basis.
