General Employment

• Position vacancies for employment are posted at the City's Web site, online and print media, and in the City Hall lobby.

• When a vacant City position is announced, all persons interested in that position must complete a City Employment Application specifying the position for which they wish to be considered and submit via mail, e-mail, fax or walk-in prior to any posted deadline. 

• Applicants tentatively selected for a position will be required to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug test prior to hire.
