Applications
The City of Woodstock Police Department does not currently have any vacancies. However, applications are being accepted and held in suspense for any future openings which may occur. In order for your information to be considered for any future job opening, you must complete and submit a City of Woodstock Employment Application.
Examinations
The City of Woodstock Police Department will conduct examinations of eligible candidates when there are vacancies. The examinations include a written examination and oral exam as well as a physical agility test. Applicants that successfully pass the exams are required to complete a thorough background review and pre-employment physical including drug testing.
Additional Requirements
Must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be a citizen of the U.S.
- Possess good moral character and not been convicted of any crime resulting in imprisonment in a federal or state prison or institution or convicted of sufficient misdemeanors to establish a pattern of disregard for the law
- Have H.S. diploma or GED
