The Headquarters Operations Division is comprised of accreditation and certification, crime analysis, evidence, office of public information, records and training. All the units within the division are dedicated to the day to day internal functions of the department to better the department's services for our citizens and visitors.

Accreditation and Certification Office
This office is responsible for ensuring that the department’s policies and practices reflect current state certification standards while addressing the needs of the department and the city. 

Crime Analysis Office 
This office is responsible for maintaining, analyzing and distributing information which includes incident reports, accident reports, crime data and traffic data. The Crime Analysis Office identifies patterns and trends in order to help the department maximize the use of all departmental resources.

Evidence Department
This department is responsible for maintaining the integrity of property and evidence collected by the department.

Public Information Office
This office is responsible for media relations to include press releases, on-air and any other police to media relations.

Records Department
This department is responsible for the classification, storage and distribution of all police reports.

Training Department
This department is responsible for developing specialized in-service and continuing education training for all personnel. The Training Department also focuses on the training and development of all new student officers through the department's Police Training Officer (PTO) program.
