The City of Woodstock has citizen-based boards, committees, and commissions which report directly to the Mayor and City Council regarding a wide variety of issues. Active boards, committees, and commissions include the: 

  • Ethics Board - Contact the City Clerk at 770 592-6002 for more information.

  • Parks and Recreation Advisory Board  - Contact the Parks and Recreation Director at 770 517-6788 for more information.

  • Planning Commission - Contact the Planning & Zoning Administrator at 770 592-6000 x-1602 for more information.


All meetings are open to the public pursuant to the Georgia Open Meetings/Records Act. Therefore, the press and public must be notified, and an agenda posted at the meeting place at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. Minutes will be taken at all meetings. If you are interested in volunteering your time by serving on one of the boards, committees, or commissions, complete the Application for Appointment and return to the City Clerk's Office.
