The answer is NO. We no longer allow USB uploads on City Computers. To make a presentation at a City Council or Planning Commission meeting, you will need to send your file electronically to email@example.com no later than 4 pm on the day of the meeting. We strongly suggest that you also provide us with any handouts you have as well so that it can become part of the official record.
We have a Public Comment section on the agenda. It's first come first serve and you sign up at the podium 15 minutes in advance of the meeting. Public Comment is only for items that ARE NOT on that night's agenda. You will receive 5 minutes to speak.
The Mayor and Council and Planning Commission will hold public hearings for certain agenda items such as Variances, Rezonings, Annexations, Conditional Use Permits, Millage Rate adoption, Budget Adoption, New Fees, and Land Development Ordinance revisions. We allow 10 minutes for proponents and 10 minutes for opponents to speak. Sign up sheets are available at the podium at least 30 minutes prior to the meeting.
If you have handouts, photos or a presentation, please email them to firstname.lastname@example.org by 4 pm the day of the meeting. You will not be allowed to upload presentations via USB on City computers.
Ordinances can be searched, retrieved and copied from our website. From the homepage - click on "Government" then from the drop down box - click on "Municipal Code of Ordinances" and then click on either the General Code box or the Land Development Ordinance Box to get to the municode website. Any ordinances that have been adopted, but have not yet been codified (put in the final online document) will be noted on the initial web page as part of the upcoming Supplement.
