Woodstock Receives Community Development Assistance Program Grant from the ARC

The City of Woodstock has received a grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission to conduct a housing capacity and gap analysis. The city hopes to identify the gap between the housing density allowed under current zoning and development regulations and future needs to keep pace with expected population growth. This analysis will also identify potential opportunity sites for infill housing. The $80,000 grant from the ARC Community Development Assistance Program will help to foster greater income diversity so people who work in the community can afford to live there as well reducing the need for long commutes.
