SCHEDULING AN INSPECTION

In order to schedule inspections and to access your results, you will need to follow the directions below.

Online Inspection Portal

  1. Use the link above to access the online inspection portal. Click on "Municipalities" in the top right corner of the page. Select "City of Woodstock" in the listing of municipalities in Georgia.
  2. Click on "Currently not signed in" in the top right corner. Then click on "Click Here to create an account" in the middle of the page.
  3. After creating your account with all the necessary information, you will need to contact us at 770-592-6054 and have them link your created username with your contact in our system.  Only one Access My Gov account can be linked to your permits. Multiple users should all be using the same account for requesting inspections and viewing results. Ensure the account you are using is the one you have had linked to your permits.
  4. Once you are linked you will be able to schedule inspection online by click "Schedule an Inspection" under "Online Services" on the left side of the screen.
  5. Enter your full permit number and click on "Next". Select the type of inspection and requested date and click on "Next". Enter the contact information for the appropriate party and click on "Next". If you have any attachments (engineer letters, photos, surveys, etc.), attach them here, and then click on "Finish". You will receive a confirmation email that your inspection has been scheduled. If you do not receive this email, your inspection has not been scheduled and you will need to try again.

NOTE: Only the general contractor is permitted to schedule inspections. Additionally, you will need to schedule trade specific inspections under the trade specific permit number you are given. For example, and Under Slab Plumbing inspection will only be listed under the given plumbing permit number. If you do not see an inspection you are wanting to request, ensure you are using the proper permit number. For rough, final, wall cover, and ceiling cover inspections you will need to schedule all separate trade inspections individually. Failure to comply with any of the information above will result in delay of your inspection scheduling.
