Cases In Progress

The Planning & Zoning Division accepts four (4) new cases per application cycle.  Applications that are not complete or submitted after the deadline may not be accepted.  All projects require a pre-application meeting with staff at least one (1) week prior to the submission deadline.  All public hearings require a public input meeting, to be scheduled and hosted by the Applicant.  All projects are considered by the Development Review Committee (DRC) prior to consideration by the Planning Commission (recommending body) and City Council (deciding body). 

Any member of the public is invited to speak at public hearings for any case.  Comments emailed to Planning Division staff will be saved to the corresponding case file and forwarded to the Planning Commission and City Council for review. Please reach out to the case project planner for specific questions regarding the project.

A#119-23 Rope Mill Lane - TABLED by applicant on 11/13/2023
Jason Scheidt, on behalf of Dan Barrett is requesting property to be annexed from Cherokee County into the City of Woodstock (exempt from minimum acreage requirement) and rezoned into IN-VIL Infill Village category, the same as the immediately adjacent Inwood development, at the same density levels allowed (12 units / acre).
