Fitness & Sports
Whether it's goal-oriented short-term instruction or an on-going boot camp-style workout, the Fitness & Sports Programs offered by Woodstock Parks and Recreation will help you be more active and improve your health.

Fun in the Parks
The City of Woodstock offers programs for students and their families to enjoy together in our parks and natural spaces. Whether it's a character-led story time in a gazebo or one interactive page of a story at a time along a winding trail, our Fun in the Parks programs will get you and your little ones moving!

Gardening & Nature
City of Woodstock Parks and Recreation partners with the UGA Cherokee County Extension and the Cherokee County Master Gardeners to teach participants essential gardening skills on a wide range of topics.

Health & Wellness
Through programs like Big Stage Yoga and Amped in the Park, Woodstock Parks and Recreation provides a regular schedule of group fitness classes in our outdoor spaces.

Pickleball is a great way to be social while being active. City of Woodstock Parks and Recreation has leagues for men, women, over 55, and mixed doubles.

The rules of pickleball are simple and the game is easy to learn. Woodstock Parks and Recreation offers lessons for beginners to this fast-growing sport.

Skills & Education
Woodstock Parks and Recreation's Skills & Education Series offers classes on a wide range of topics from sour dough baking to first aid. You'll leave with a deeper understanding and skills to develop going forward.
