The center hosts a variety of daily programs including mahjongg, billiards, arts and crafts, painting, dancing, and wood carving. Programming also includes a robust trip schedule to local museums, theaters, restaurants, festivals, and other points of interest.
LINE DANCING - Boot Scoot and Boogie!
Mondays and Thursdays at 9:00 AM
Bring your boots, ballet slippers, or tennis shoes, but leave the boredom at home and join us for good music, great friends, and fun times on the Amphitheater stage. We had a great turnout for the re-start of Line Dancing, but there is plenty of room for you!
Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:00 AM
If you can throw a Frisbee and walk, you can play disc golf! This is a great activity that combines all the benefits of a good walk while adding in an upper body and arms workout as well! And it is a lot of fun to boot! Not sure how to play? Don’t have a disc? Don’t worry we will have staff on hand to teach you the game and plenty of equipment for you to use. The games are recreational, no pressure to win or be an expert. So come on out to Dupree Park on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and join us for some fun in the great outdoors!
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:00 AM
How about a nice leisurely walk while having a chat with friends? We are shaking off the cobwebs and stretching our legs. Walk as far as you want and stop anytime on the loop track at Dupree Park. We'll be adding a running club soon as well!
