The City of Woodstock Teen Public Safety Academy occurs once a year and spans a week (5 days) at our city venues.

The Teen Public Safety Academy is an important component of the Woodstock Police Department and Woodstock Fire Department’s community oriented philosophy. Its purpose is to provide a forum whereby you can develop a basic understanding of how the police and fire departments are continually striving to better our city.

Students enrolled in the Teen Public Safety Academy will learn about a variety of topics from experts in SWAT, K-9, traffic enforcement, firefighting, 911 dispatching, the District Attorney's Office, and more. The mission of the program is to introduce teenagers to public safety and the courts through a hands-on, immersive look into these fields through classroom instruction, demonstrations, and scenario based exercises.

The upcoming session of the City of Woodstock Teen Public Safety Academy will take place June 17 - 21, 2024.
