The City of Woodstock Parks and Recreation Department hosts a variety of year round Special Events. From concerts in the park to holiday parades and festivals, there's always something happening for the entire family.

Arbor Day Celebration
Friday, February 19th
Celebrate all things green with our annual free seedling and tree care guide giveaway! 
The free booklet has important information which includes caring for, planting, and pruning existing trees.  This year, 800 seedlings will be given away!  This year’s varieties are Dogwood, Crape Myrtle, Redbud and Red Maple.  The seedlings and guide can be picked up between 8 am and 5 pm at the Woodstock City Hall Annex, the City of Woodstock’s Magnolia Hall, William G. Long Senior Center, and Woodstock Visitor’s Center/Dean’s Store.
