City of Woodstock has over 200 full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees across 9 divisions who work daily to provide the highest level of professionalism, leadership, and customer service to citizens, stakeholders, and visitors. We're taking proactive steps to provide citizens with a sustainable living environment and implementing programs to encourage small business and commercial development to complement the residential development occurring.
Woodstock is one of Georgia’s safest cities and the crime rate is dropping thanks to our highly trained police department. Our well-equipped fire department holds the highest rating for insurance services ensuring our community is protected. Our public works team provides impeccable infrastructure services in transportation, water, and waste management. Woodstock’s parks and recreation department maintains 7 passive parks and over 20 miles of trails while hosting over two dozen community events each year.
