Two warming stations will operate in Cherokee County during the forecasted winter weather event:
Latimer Hall (103 Towne Lake Parkway, Woodstock, GA, 30188)
This location will be available from 12:00 PM Friday (12/23) to 9:00 AM Monday (12/26). Guests are encouraged to arrive by 6:00 PM each evening. If no one arrives by 10:00 PM, a decision will be made on whether to remain open or close that evening. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
Action Church (271 Marietta Road, Canton, GA, 30114)
This location will be available on Friday (12/23), Saturday (12/24), and Sunday (12/25). Doors will open at 6:00 PM and all guests must leave by 8:00 AM the next morning. Dinner and breakfast will be provided. If no one arrives by 11:00 PM each day, the shelter will close for that evening.
